Get a little guy into the Atlas.
There are far more mascots out there than there are in here. Two ways to fix that, both free, both open to anyone.
We made this one.
You work somewhere that has a character, and right now the only record of it is your brand folder. Send it over and it gets a page: the images, where it lives, what it's for, and a credit for whoever actually drew it.
- name, company, and where it shows up
- images you're happy for us to run
- the designer's name, if you know it
I keep seeing this thing.
The bird on the login screen. The bear on the receipt. The one from the vending machine outside Kyoto Station. If it's a real character doing a real job somewhere, it belongs in here and probably nobody has written it down yet.
- a link, a screenshot, or a photo you took
- where you found it
- whose it is, if you can tell
You drew one that's already in here? Open its page and hit "was it you?". Most tech mascots have a designer who never got the credit and we'd like to hand it back.
What gets in. A real character working somewhere real, with a link to where we found it. No stock art, no concepts, no AI slop. We're cataloguing, not judging: everything here is somebody's little guy and we're not the mascot police about it.
What we do with it. Nothing but show it. The character stays yours, we credit the source, and if you own one and want it gone, say the word and it's gone that day.
A proper upload form is coming. For now these buttons open an email with the questions already in it, which is faster anyway.
