Copilot

GitHub describes Copilot as its AI pair programmer represented in avatar form. The brand toolkit files it as a mascot alongside Mona and Ducky, specifies the purple, blue and pink treatment, and ships five approved turnarounds. Cameron Foxly, a GitHub designer whose byline reads professionally drawing octocats at GitHub, drew the keyframes by hand, modelled it in Blender and animated it in After Effects; Dean Blacc wired the playback into a state machine. The result has nine named emotional states, a plush, a vinyl collectible, a pin and an ASCII port so it can greet you in a terminal. What it does not have is a name of its own, or a body.
