Clawd

Clawd appeared in the Claude Code terminal as a blocky orange creature whose name and species were left largely undocumented. Anthropic names him in exactly one place, a changelog line about his eyes and feet rendering unevenly in iTerm2. The ambiguity became fuel: users carried him into desktop companions, hardware displays, animation states, costumes, 3D prints and event merch. The official character is thin, but the unofficial world around him is already surprisingly deep.
