Codex Pets

OpenAI built Pets as optional animated companions for following work across supported interfaces. The built-in cast is Codey, Dewey, Fireball, Rocky, Seedy, Stacky, BSOD and Null Signal. In the desktop app a pet can float above other windows and collect activity from multiple chats; supported web chats and Codex CLI carry lighter versions of the same system. Custom pets turn the cast into a framework rather than a closed character lineup, and the community has been hatching its own since launch.
