Wumpus

Wumpus is Discord’s resident creature, named after Hunt the Wumpus, the 1973 text game. He lives in the app’s quiet corners: empty friend lists, loading screens, error pages, anywhere a user might feel alone, which made him the mascot of not having anyone to talk to yet. Discord leaned into the pathos, the community adopted him completely, and the plush versions sell out whenever they appear. A mascot built for the moments a product usually wastes.
