Freddie

Freddie, formally Freddie von Chimpenheimer IV, is the winking chimp in a mail carrier hat who has fronted Mailchimp since 2001. The 2013 redraw by Jon Hicks stripped him to one clean confident wink, and Mailchimp built a famously personality-forward brand behind it. House rules keep him honest: Freddie never speaks, he just winks, points, and high-fives. For two decades he made email marketing, the least charming product category imaginable, feel like it had a sense of humor.
